Your guide to understanding all those formulas you see in your Calculus I class
(Quick note: See my instructor bio for a link to the maximum possible discount for this course!)
The product rule, the quotient rule, the power rule, the chain rule. The derivative of ln(x). The integral of tan(x). And so much more. See these rules and formulas, and see thorough and complete explanations of why they're true!
It is unfortunate that most calculus courses (and most math courses in general) don't have the time required to go through all of the explanations behind relevant formulas. But knowing why a formula is true can be very helpful in remembering what the formula says.
This course is meant to address that issue. This is a helpful supplement to your in-class learning. But even if you aren't currently taking a calculus class, you can learn from this course as long as you know what a limit is, what a derivative is, and what an integral is.
